Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate (Classroom Based)

Developed and taught by industry experts and University of Nevada, Reno faculty, the Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate offers in-depth, leading-edge course content and an opportunity to develop and demonstrate excellence in social media and digital marketing.
In this four-course certificate program, you will:
- Optimize your use of Facebook, Twitter, blogs, email marketing and websites
- Develop and manage branding strategies using digital media
- Gain skills to create, design and operate a blog
- Learn how to design a social media and digital marketing strategy for your business or organization
- Begin developing remarkable content to improve your organization’s social media and digital marketing
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts with analytics
Through hands-on coaching from University faculty and industry experts, you will learn how social media and digital marketing tools interrelate, as well as the most effective ways to use them to your greatest advantage.
To earn the four-course Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate, participants must satisfactorily complete (1) Social Media Essentials: Building Effective Campaigns (previously titled Introduction to Social Media: New and Social Media Marketing for Busy People); (2) one elective course; and (3 & 4) Digital Marketing Strategies (previously titled Inbound Marketing Principles and Practices) and Digital Analytics (previously titled Inbound Marketing Analytics and Metrics).
