This course will address laws and regulations governing discrimination, hiring practices, safety, labor relations, unemployment and workers' compensation, drug testing, in-house personnel investigations, and the development of standards in the areas of fairness, due process and termination.

This course may be taken independently or applied toward a 10-course certificate in Human Resources Management or Supervisory Management offered through Extended Studies.
