Most people spend half of their total communication time listening to others, but actual "listening training" is rare. Study this forgotten skill and learn more about the listening process. Topics will include critical listening events on the job; how to listen for facts, ideas and feelings; effective responses to others; personal listening skills and problems; and helping others listen better. Participants will work on adapting good listening principles and strategies to their job setting.
