Accent Reduction for Medical Professionals

Description:

Your grammar and vocabulary may be excellent, but your pronunciation and intonation may hinder clear communication with native English speakers. Intonation patterns are usually overlooked in the teaching of English pronunciation, but the proper use of intonation delivers clear signals to the American listener.

Participants in this course will learn techniques to reduce their accents, improve pronunciation, and also learn to incorporate the American English intonation pattern into their speech. They will also be given resources to help internalize new patterns of both pronunciation and intonation.
