This workshop is an introduction to payroll administration for those requiring knowledge of fundamental payroll calculations, payroll taxation and tax reporting. The focus will be on creating a system for proper accounting, reporting and compliance. Attendees will learn basic paycheck calculations, overseeing, tracking and properly reporting benefits and payroll taxes. This workshop will also include a brief overview of outside payroll service companies and an introduction to prevailing wage law.
