Harnessing the Power of Social Influencers and User-Generated Content

Spring 2018 will be the final chance for students to complete courses in the Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate Program. The program and courses will be discontinued in June 2018.

Are you struggling to create content online? User-generated content (UGC) might be your solution. UGC is anything on the web that users have a hand in making. Most of the photos, videos and posts you see on the web are pieces of user-generated content. In this course, you’ll learn how to identify potential UGC to help elevate your brand’s social media presence, along with identifying and encouraging social influencers to help tell your story.

We will examine successful user-generated content campaigns, learn the tools and best practices needed to implement UGC, and create a UGC content strategy that will set you on the path to success.

Learning objectives:

  • Create a user-generated content strategy to support your larger business goals
  • Generate compelling content that gets results
  • Grow your online community and identify your brand advocates

This course may be taken independently or applied toward the requirements of the Social Media and Digital Marketing Certificate
