Description:
Waterfall is a sequential, linear process of project management. It also is referred to as Traditional or Predictive Project Management. This Project Management training is for project managers and project team members alike, designed to set individuals up for success, even when planning and executing projects with a lot of uncertainty.
Participants will learn and apply concepts, tools and techniques for each phase of a project, from initiation through closeout. This course includes an introduction to Project Management Institute’s 10 project management knowledge areas: Integration Management, Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Resource Management, Communication Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management and Stakeholder Management.
This training will include Waterfall project management techniques and best practices. Students also will participate in activities associated with developing key deliverables, such as the Project Charter and Project Management Plan.

This course is offered in-person in the classroom and provides 7 hours toward fulfilling the required 35 hours of project management education/training for the PMP® Certification.
