Resume-building digital skills you can use in the workplace today.
Computer skills are increasingly necessary in the workforce. If you have demonstrated computer ability, your chances of excelling professionally increase significantly. For organizations, the costs of digital illiteracy can be high. A recent study estimates the cost of digital illiteracy to be nearly $3,000 per person annually. Much of this can be relieved with professional development courses.
Business Computer Skills courses offer instruction and practice in the latest versions of Microsoft Office applications and providing hands-on training in skills that can be used immediately in the workplace.
Courses may be taken independently and require no formal admission to the University. Courses are held at the University’s Redfield Campus, 18600 Wedge Parkway, Reno. Fees include course materials and parking. Should campus closure prevent in-person delivery, courses will be offered virtually via Zoom.
