Description:
Casinos are a data-rich environment, and as the casino industry evolves, decision making is becoming more complex. It is crucial that managers possess the knowledge and skills to know how to collect, classify and analyze the masses of data that exist in a casino. This data is both external and internal and is largely driven by slot and table game activity. Senior managers are demanding rationale for decisions and the ability to support decisions with both data and sophisticated analysis. This course will discuss data sources, data organization and presentation, data ethics and controls, data visualization, statistical analysis, linear regression, time series analysis and other advanced analytic methods.
