Description:
Nightlife breeds its own set of issues that need specialized security. Casinos that add nightlife venues to their amenities sometimes fail to realize the unique risks involved with music, alcohol and a different demographic. Nightlife venues can be economically successful, but unless they are managed correctly, they can become more of a liability than an asset. This course will discuss how to hire, train and manage a security staff that can mitigate problems before they start, and keep the venue and the casino out of trouble with regulators and litigators.
Key Areas:
- Types of nightlife
- Policies and procedures
- Potential threats
- Security positions
Who should attend:
Security managers, supervisors and directors, bar and nightlife managers, gaming officials – both tribal and commercial, and personnel new to nightlife.
